The Gateway Selvedge from Naked & Famous is a 14.3oz Japanese selvedge denim. This is an easy-wearing denim, featuring 2% stretch, making it a great "first time" denim for those interesting in stepping into the selvedge world. Woven with shorter staple cotton in the warp, the fabric has a noticeable "gritty" texture. 2% elastane in the weft offers flexibility and minimizes the "break in" period often associated with raw selvedge denim.Â
